Lily’s Kitchen, an award-winning organic pet food brand, is branching out after confirming the opening of a new Doggy Dentist in Notting Hill, London.

The company, which specialises in natural pet foods, is preparing to run a pop-up dental service for pampered pooches in need of a deep clean or dental attention. The opening of the store will coincide with Pet Dental Health Month and Valentine’s Day.

As part of the unique Doggy Dentist experience, owners will be invited to bring their canine companions to the temporary clinic to undergo a series of activities that are designed to boost oral health at the same time as enabling dogs to have plenty of fun. After checking in at reception and providing details about their pet’s general and dental health, owners can hand over their dogs to trained play buddies, who guide their new furry friends through a series of fun activities, including searching for natural dental treats and chews and finding Woofbrush rewards in a ball pool. Owners will also receive advice about caring for their dog’s teeth at home.

Vets working at the pop-up shop will provide dental check-ups, taking a close look at the teeth and gums while their patients are entertained by TV programmes and screens. The final stage is a snap inside the photo booth, which enables the dog to join the Hollywoof Hall of Fame.

The Lily’s Kitchen experience is fun and quirky, but it’s also spreading a really important message. Gum disease is very common in dogs, yet less than 50% of owners take their dog for annual dental checks.
