A dentist from Omaha has introduced new measures to educate his patients about oral hygiene and dental health.

Dr Mark Braasch, of Braasch Dentistry has kitted out his practice with a number of educational resources to help patients learn about oral hygiene and learn how to look after their teeth and gums. The practice now boasts a patient education library, which contains DVDs, books and magazines, which enable patients to learn about several aspects of dentistry.

The education library helps patients to learn about the treatments available to them and make better informed judgements; patient can now discuss possible treatments with their dentist and understand the options the dentist is offering. All the resources are available inline via the practice website and patients are able to access them whenever they want; the library is updated on a regular basis so that patients are kept up to date with dental news and advances in technology and treatment. The content in the library is geared towards patients and covers a variety of topics.

Braasch Dentistry offers patients a range of general and cosmetic dental treatments and is geared towards a positive relationship between staff and patients. The new online service also offers patients the opportunity to download forms and arrange appointments, as well as learning about modern dentistry via the education library.
