Northamptonshire Dental Team Joins Hundreds Of Dentists On Cycle Ride to Raise Money For Macmillan

Four dental professionals from Northamptonshire have joined hundreds of dentists on a charity bike ride to clock up miles in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Dentist Iain Dibble and dental nurses, Lilian, Abbi and Dawn, from Ise Lodge Dental Centre, joined hundreds of dental workers from all over the UK on the bike ride, which is raising thousands of pounds for Macmillan Cancer Support. The group of dentists has clocked up more than 900 miles and the Ise Lodge team joined for gruelling day of cycling, which involved climbing hills, navigating winding roads and managing tricky terrain.

The dentists taking part in the ride have already smashed the initial target of £30,000 and donations are still flowing in from patients, colleagues and friends all over the country.

Mr Dibble said that it was great to be part of such an amazing experience and to be working with other dental professionals to raise money for a really worthwhile cause. Mr Dibble also thanked his team members for agreeing to take part in the challenge and praised them for their efforts on what was a very challenging day.

Mr Dibble and the team also thanked patients, fellow members of staff and family and friends for their generous donations.

Macmillan Cancer Support provides much-needed medical care, practical help and emotional support for people who have been diagnosed with cancer, as well as their loved ones and it makes a huge difference to the lives of thousands of people in the UK every year.
