NHS Nottingham City to Host Mobile Dental Unit Open Day

Sample News Big

NHS Nottingham City is inviting local people to attend an open day and provide feedback on the mobile dental service.

The service is currently available between 10am and 6pm on Mondays and from 8am until 4pm on Tuesdays, with the unit based at the Elohim Development Academy at Wells Road Community Centre. The open day will take place on Tuesday between 8am and 4pm and the event will be attended by Councillor Michael Wildgust, Lord Mayor of Nottingham.

NHS Nottingham City is currently running a pilot scheme and is looking for patients to provide feedback to improve the service and determine its future. The unit was launched after people living in the area asked for better access to dental care.

Claire Matthews, from NHS Nottingham City, said that the open day was an ideal opportunity to see how the service works and what it offers and she invited people to attend the event and offer their opinions on the service.

The mobile unit provides a range of dental services and treatments and enables people to receive treatment on their doorstep. If the pilot scheme is successful it may be expanded in the future.
