NHS England encourages Spalding dental patients to register with new practice
NHS England is encouraging dental patients who don’t currently have a dentist in Spalding to sign up with a practice, which is due to open soon.
Representatives from NHS England are urging patients to get in touch with the team at Winsover Dental Care, which is on course to open its doors on March 1st. Pre-registration is now available, and all patients have to do to join the list is visit the practice website at https://winsoverdentalcare.co.uk. The homepage has information for prospective patients looking to register or make an appointment, with a button to input details and find out more about the practice.
News of the opening will be welcomed by health groups and patients in the Spalding area, as there have been delays in opening new surgeries, which have contributed to difficulties getting an NHS dental appointment. It has also been confirmed that a nearby practice in South Holland will close at the end of March, as the dentist is due to retire.
Initially, NHS England had planned for two new dental practices to open in the Spalding area, but only one is on track at the moment. Further updates are expected from NHS England in the near future.
Winsover Dental Care is set to open on the 1st March, and patients will be able to take advantage of extended opening times, with evening and some weekend appointments available. The new clinic will offer a full range of NHS services, including routine checks and cleaning treatments, dentures, crowns, fillings, extractions, X-rays and preventative care.
