New NHS dental surgery opens in Knaresborough
A new NHS dental practice has opened in the Yorkshire town of Knaresborough.
Whitecross Dental Care is located in the centre of the town and has up to 7,000 NHS dental places available for patients from the Knaresborough and Harrogate areas. So far, more than 3,000 patients have registered with the practice but local health chiefs are encouraging local people to sign up with the practice as thousands of places are still available.
The practice is part of the Integrated Dental Holdings Group and offers a range of dental treatments and services. Practice manager Angela Wise has urged anybody wanting to sign up with a local dentist to get in touch with the surgery; the practice is also contacting patients from the NHS waiting list.
There are still around 4,000 NHS dental places available at the practice but they are expected to be filled quickly and patients are encouraged to contact the surgery as soon as possible to register.

How could my Mum who lives in Knaresborough register with the new NHS Dentist, hers is due to retire and she would like the opportunity to join the new practice.

I have recently registered, there was a four week waiting list but good experience of them getting back in touch for the initial check up.
