New dental practice to open in Ipswich

Sample News Big

A new dental practice is set to open in the centre of Ipswich.

Quest Dental Care will open in Great Colman Street. Initially, the practice will provide private dental services, but the owners have said that they are exploring the possibility of offering NHS dentistry in the future.

The surgery is located in premises formerly occupied by Action Outdoors in the centre of the city. The practice will be easily accessible on foot and via public transport. The practice will be run alongside its sister surgery, Ipswich Dental Surgery, which is located in Berners Street and provides both private and NHS services.

Dr Payal Bhalla, lead dentist at Ipswich Dental Surgery, will take charge at Quest Dental Care in addition to her existing role. The new practice is now accepting new patient applications and the doors are set to open on November 4th. Dr Bhalla said that the team cannot wait to welcome new patients and get started in the new location.

Dr Bhalla has over 15 years of experience in working as a dentist and she has owned a practice for four years. The practice has expanded over the years from a two-surgery facility to a four-surgery centre. Dr Bhalla did consider trying to fit a new surgery into the existing building but decided it would be better to open a new practice.

She spoke of a “burning desire” to create something of her own and is now incredibly excited to be able to open the doors to patients.

Quest Dental Care will offer a diverse range of dental services, including tooth whitening, veneers, dental implants, emergency dentistry, general treatments, cleaning and hygiene services, smile makeovers and treatment for nervous patients.

There will be a family insurance plan available and the practice will open during some evenings and offer weekend surgeries.
