New dental practice set to open in Crawley

Sample News Big

A new dental practice could open in Crawley following the submission of a change of use application for premises formerly occupied by a learning centre.

The application relates to ground floor premises in Pegler Court, Pegler Way. The premises were previously occupied by Explore Learning. If the change of use application is granted by council officers, a brand new dental surgery will open its doors to patients in the heart of the town.

The application has been submitted to Crawley Borough Council and residents have been invited to comment on the proposal online. Explore Learning has closed its Pegler Court location, paving the way for a new dental surgery to open if the plans are given the green light by planning officers.

There are currently no more details about the application. A decision is expected in the coming weeks.
Dental access has been an issue dominating the news headlines recently and it is likely that many residents will be happy to see plans to open a new dental clinic in the local area.

Many patients across the UK have reported difficulties getting appointments, with teams dealing with backlogs created by the pandemic. During the first lockdown, practices closed for several weeks and they are still running at reduced capacities to allow for social distancing and advanced infection control and hygiene measures.
