New dental practice opens in Scunthorpe
A new dental practice has opened in Scunthorpe.
Blyton Dental has opened at Duchess House on Queensway Business Park. The owners of the new surgery, Dr Arun Thomas and Dr Sharon Jacob, already run a successful, established dental practice in Blyton, which provides treatment for over 7,000 patients.
Dr Thomas said that there has been a huge number of enquiries about the new practice and the team has already pre-registered more than 500 patients. The practice will offer affordable private dentistry as an alternative to NHS treatment, providing services which don’t cost the earth.
The demand for dental treatment is rising and practices are under pressure due to backlogs created by the pandemic and limits on patient numbers.
The new surgery will ease pressure on dental providers in Scunthorpe and offer patients the chance to benefit from affordable, accessible care.
The team consists of seven dentists and three hygienists in addition to dental nurses and reception staff. Patients will be able to choose which of the two practices to visit and they can also sign up for a monthly payment plan. The cost of £9.99 per month covers one annual check-up and two dental hygiene sessions per year.
Patients who wish to find out more or register with the surgery are advised to contact reception directly. The team has experience in caring for nervous patients and is looking forward to welcoming new faces and helping those who may not have seen a dentist for a while to conquer anxiety and nerves.
