National Dental Plan Launches New Individual Dental Policy
National Dental Plan, one of the UK’s largest corporate dental insurance providers, has revealed plans to introduce new individual insurance policies.
National Dental Plan will launch two new products, including Wisdom Benefits, which provides savings on cosmetic dental treatment and Dencover, which is a low-cost plan suitable for those looking for a less comprehensive package.
Andrew Bower, company director, said that the two new products mark the first step into the market for individual insurance policies.
Wisdom Benefits is not an insurance policy as such. It provides patients with access to a network of dentists who can provide treatment at a lower cost. The plan covers pre-existing conditions and patients can benefit from 20 per cent off crowns and root canal treatment, cosmetic treatments and Orthodontics.
Wisdom Benefits is available in addition to insurance policies and has been launched in line with an increased demand for cosmetic and orthodontic treatment.
Dencover is a low cost plan, which helps towards routine dental costs, patients can choose to see private or NHS dentists.
The products are available to people who are leaving a corporation and wish to continue their dental cover, as well as new clients.
