mydentist Launches TV Campaign to Encourage Hull Residents to Look After Their Teeth

Sample News Big

National dental chain mydentist has launched a new TV campaign to encourage people in Hull to look after their teeth and visit their dentist on a regular basis.

The television advert, which was shown on ITV in the break before Loose Women for the first time this week, features a gentleman in a bow-tie, a carnival queen and a mother and daughter. The aim is to get people thinking about their oral health and to encourage them to devote just a few minutes each day to brushing and flossing. The visual effects are accompanied by the infamous voice of Gyles Brandreth.

The move comes after research revealed staggering rates of decay among young children and low confidence levels among adults. Almost 30 percent of adults surveyed by mydentist said they felt self-conscious about the appearance of their smile.

Karen Forbes, a regional director at mydentist, said the firm wants to spread the message that everyone can have a healthy, attractive smile. Hopefully, when people see the advert, they will stop and think about what they could do to improve their oral health. mydentist encourages good oral hygiene, regular dental visits and healthy eating habits.
