Mouth Cancer Foundation launches awards
The Mouth Cancer Foundation has launched the Mouth Cancer Foundation Support Group Awards to celebrate Mouth Cancer Awareness Week, which will begin next Sunday.
The Mouth Cancer Foundation will offer cash prizes to supports projects, programmes and groups that deal with oral cancer and work to raise awareness of oral cancer and help those affected by the disease. Cash prizes of up to £1,500 will be awarded to the winners.
The foundation is looking to support both large and small groups and projects across the UK; the organisation is especially keen to reward those using innovative approaches to help people affected by oral cancer and raise awareness of the disease.
To enter the competition, groups must fill in an application form, which will then be considered by the judging panel. The closing date for entries is the 31st December and the prizes will be given out in January.
