Milnthorpe dentists take charge of village’s treasured war memorial

The team from a dental practice in Milnthorpe has taken over the village’s treasured war memorial.
Dentists, nurses and reception staff from Green Dental have officially taken charge of the upkeep of Milnthorpe’s war memorial and the surrounding garden. From now, the team will be responsible for tending to the garden and ensuring it is in good condition and free from litter.
Representatives from the Parish Council said that they are thrilled to have the dental practice on board and hope to enjoy a “long and mutually beneficial relationship”.
Members of the Green Dental team, Robert Young, Frances Watkins and Hawys Watkins appeared in the local paper to celebrate the new partnership.
The war memorial garden is a focal point of the community and its upkeep means a lot to local residents and the Parish Council. The team at Green Dental has vowed to keep the garden in excellent condition and ensure that the villagers of Milnthorpe are able to enjoy it for many more years to come.
