Meltham Dental Team Celebrates Double Success
A dental team from Meltham, Yorkshire, is starting the New Year with a bang, after winning two awards at a prestigious national awards ceremony.
Members of staff from Meltham Dental Care are all smiles after the practice scooped two awards at the Dentistry Awards; the practice was named Best Practice in the North West and practice manager, Joanne Holroyd was awarded Most Outstanding Individual in the North.
The awards honour excellence in dentistry and commitment to the profession and the Meltham dental team was delighted with the results. The practice relocated in July 2012 and has expanded rapidly, from a four surgery team to a seven-surgery practice, which now occupies a modern, purpose-built facility.
Practice principal dentist, Dr Bal Dhesi, said that the awards were recognition of everybody’s hard work and dedication to providing excellent dental care.
Of particular note was practice manager, Joanne’s, hard work; in order to win the Outstanding Individual award, she had to prove that she went above and beyond her role and demonstrate her commitment to dentistry. She has already won several awards and was praised by colleagues. Dr Bal Dhesi was also named on the shortlist for Best Young Dentist at the awards.
