Madame Tussauds′ take celebs′ dental records

Madame Tussauds’ newest wax museum obtains the dental records for each celebrity figurine they create.
It has been revealed today that mold-makers at the Hollywood branch of Tussauds’ get hold of celebs’ dental files, even if a star’s teeth don’t show.
The reason that the nutty figurine museum apparently do this is to get the structure of the star’s face just right and dental records are crucial for plotting the position of the celeb’s finely chizzled cheekbones. Why not simply just clone them in a test tube?
And it doesn’t stop there.
Sculptors usually spent more than two hours taking measurements of each star.
Madame Tussauds’ is so proud of its attention to the finer details that it even photographs each of a celebrity’s’ tattoos individually and then sends the appropriate wax body parts off to get a replica design from the original artist.
The $55 million three-story Hollywood Tussaids’ is the Merlin Entertainment Group’s ninth museum. The other branches are situated in Amsterdam, Berlin, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, New York, Shanghai, Washington, and most famously London.
Only Barack Obama, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Beyoncé Knowles feature in all nine museums.
According to Star-telegram.com, Drew Patton, Tussaud’s marketing director, admitted only one person has ever refused to be immortalised in wax: “Mother Teresa told us, ‘I find it very flattering, however, I’m not a celebrity. I’m looking after people, that’s what I do’.”
