Liverpool’s café concept dental practice celebrates its first anniversary
One of the UK’s most popular café concept dental practices is celebrating its first anniversary.
The Dental Café in Liverpool was established to provide patients with a simple, hassle-free means of accessing dental care in a relaxed, modern setting. Offering a menu of treatments, which is based on those found in coffee shops, the boutique practice offers something a little different to the traditional dental clinic.
Taking inspiration from drop-in clinics in London, the owners decided to set up the Dental Café in the heart of Liverpool, creating a stylish practice with a cool, urban feel. The menu is divided into segments based on coffee shop orders, and features a range of services with prices clearly marked next to the treatment name.
Dr Clare Robinson, principal dentist, wanted to offer patients something new and fun, and the clinic champions preventative dental care at the same time as providing clients with a different experience. The interior mimics that of a trendy, high street café, and even the treatments take inspiration from café culture. The air polish treatments, for example, are available in made-to-order flavours, including berry, orange, blackcurrant, tutti-frutti, mint, and cherry.
In homage to its quirky aesthetics and laid-back vibe, the clinic has been touted as the ‘most Instagrammable dental practice in the country.’
