A dental clinic based in Liverpool is expecting a significant upturn in turnover over the festive period, as more and more people treat themselves to pre-party makeovers.

The Dental Café, which is located in Garston, has been inundated with requests for cleaning treatments and tooth whitening services in the run up to Christmas, with many people keen to look their best for work parties and special occasions.

Dentist and owner, Dr Clare Robinson, explained that everyone wants to look and feel great at Christmas, and dental treatments are a great way of increasing confidence. They also offer the chance to give yourself a festive treat at a time when most of us are indulging our nearest and dearest.

The clinic is expecting a 25% increase in turnover in the run-up to Christmas, with an increase in bookings for tooth whitening and dental hygiene treatments. Dentists are also expecting to sell around 400 gift vouchers before the big day. Vouchers for dental treatments have emerged as an increasingly popular gift idea, and enable people to treat their friends and family to a beautiful new smile in the New Year.

The Dental Café launched in the summer and it has proven a hit with local people. More than 2,000 have visited the clinic, and the concept, which is designed to provide rapid treatment in a laid-back, modern setting with a coffee-shop style menu of services, has proven very popular.
