Leeds Dentist Nominated For Best Of Health Awards
A dentist who has helped to ease the fears of hundreds of dental patients has been nominated for the Yorkshire Evening Post’s Best of Health Awards.
Dr Sanjay Gautam, from the Perfect Smile Clinic in Oakwood, Leeds, has quickly established a reputation for making patients feel comfortable and relaxed in the dental chair and one patient said that he has helped “put my faith back into seeing the dentist.” The same patient praised her dentist for explaining procedures and treatments with great clarity and providing an understanding ear; she described Dr Gautam as a “treat to see” and confirmed that, thanks to Dr Gautam, she is no longer scared of root canal treatment.
Dr Gautam has been nominated in the Dentist of the Year category, which is being sponsored by Leeds Dental Institute, part of the University of Leeds.
Dr Gautam said that he is delighted with the nomination and touched that one of his patients took the time to fill in the form and share her positive experiences.
The Best of Health Awards are held in recognition of the amazing work of health professionals across Yorkshire.
