An ambitious dentist from Leeds is creating new jobs after acquiring his second dental practice.

James Cooper, owner of Briggate Dental, has successfully completed the purchase of Langdale Dental in Headingley after securing funding from Unity Trust Bank.

James has plans to expand the business to provide a wider and more diverse range of treatments and he is looking forward to welcoming new patients and taking on new members of staff and apprentices. The move will provide eight jobs across the two practices. The business provides a broad spectrum of dental services in addition to facial aesthetics, including Botox treatment.

Talking about the expansion, James said that he was delighted to add another practice to the portfolio. Having joined Briggate Dental in 2013 as an associate, James leapt at the chance to buy the practice when the owner put it up for sale. He is now looking forward to treating more patients and creating a warm, friendly atmosphere at the new practice in Headingley. The company ethos is centred on making patients feel comfortable and relaxed and Briggate Dental has established an excellent reputation for this reason.

The expansion will increase capacity, which is needed due to a surge in the demand for dental treatment, most notably, cosmetic services.
