Kingsclere dental team to scale the heights for cancer charity

A dental team from Kingsclere is preparing to scale the dizzy heights of Mount Snowdon to raise money for a local cancer charity.

Staff from Imogen Dental, which is located at Kingsclere Health Centre, will set out on their mission to tackle Wales’ tallest peak on the 20th May. They are raising money to support Ark Cancer Care’s £5 million appeal to fund a new cancer centre in Hampshire, which would provide treatment and support for patients from Kingsclere and the surrounding towns and villages.

The Imogen Dental team is hoping to raise £3,000 to donate to the appeal. Dr Neel Tank, the owner of the practice, explained that the team had chosen to support the appeal as they like to support local causes each year, and many members have been affected by cancer. There is a need for a treatment centre in the area, and a new facility would undoubtedly have a really positive impact.

Several members of staff will be participating in the climb, and everyone is hoping to raise as much money as possible in the coming weeks. To support the team, you can visit www.imogendental.co.uk/charity.
