A dental team from Kenilworth is braced for a deluge of enquiries after opening up new NHS dental places.

Abbey End Dental Practice has recruited a new NHS dentist, meaning that around 40 extra places per week will be available. The practice team is expecting a surge in calls and enquiries from patients looking to join the surgery or make an appointment.

The practice, which is part of the Portman Dental Group, now has two NHS dentists available to see new patients and existing patients who may have struggled to get an appointment previously. Adding a new dentist should ease pressure significantly and make it easier for patients to get appointments. There are now seven dentists at the practice providing NHS and private dental services.

Practice manager, Kes Cullinane, said that the team was “delighted” to be able to offer places for new NHS patients and more appointments for existing patients.

As well as increasing NHS capacity, the practice is also opening up new places for private patients.

The team is anticipating high levels of demand for appointments and anyone who wishes to join the practice as a new patient or make an appointment is encouraged to contact the practice as soon as possible by calling 01926 852504 or visiting the website at www.abbeyenddental.co.uk.

Portman Dental Group has an expansive network of dental clinics across the UK with more than 220 dental surgeries and 40 specialist orthodontic clinics.
