Hertfordshire police release CCTV footage after thief steals purse from Hatfield dental practice
Police officers searching for a thief in Hertfordshire have released CCTV images after a purse was taken from a dental practice in Hatfield.
The incident occurred at 3.15pm on Friday 7th February. A purse was stolen from a bag at Hilltop Dental Surgery in High View. The purse contained cash, bank cards and photographs.
Having been informed about the missing purse, police officers set about trying to track down a male who was seen hanging around the surgery at the time of the incident. Anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV footage is encouraged to contact Hertfordshire police by calling 101 and quoting the reference number 41/11583/20 or emailing PC Jess Gibbs at [email protected]. It is also possible to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or to share information via a webchat on the Hertfordshire Police website.
PC Gibbs said that the man in the CCTV images could provide crucial information and urged anyone who knows anything about the individual or the stolen purse to get in touch.
