Gwent Special Care Dentist Awarded MBE
A special care dentist from Gwent has been awarded an MBE in the Queen’s most recent honours list.
Dr Sue Greening, from the Aneurin Health Board, has been awarded the prestigious honour in recognition of her commitment to dentistry in Wales. Dr Greening has been working as a consultant in special care dentistry for many years and is also clinical director of community dental service for the health board.
Qualifying in 1977, Dr Greening has enjoyed an illustrious career. She is an active member of many dental associations and organisations and she has been instrumental in improving community and special care dental services within Wales.
Dr Greening is a very passionate and driven dentist and has worked hard to make services for disabled patients and patients relying on community dental services better. Sue was named on the Queen’s Birthday Honours List and she will be invited to collect her award at Buckingham Palace in the near future.
