Police have identified the gold-toothed robber of a Pennsylvanian bank.

Officers are still looking for the man who is believed to be Lloyd Virgil Barclay, originally from Philadelphia.

Authorities suspect that Barclay, who is black, 5ft8 and has a gold-tooth (reportedly his only tooth), to have robbed a KNBT bank branch in Bethlehem at around 9.20am this morning.

The 51-year-old suspect is said to have entered the bank and passed a note demanding money to frightened staff whilst making reference to shooting someone. However, no gun was actually revealed.

According to lehighvalleylive.com, at the time of the robbery Barclay was wearing a “grey sweatshirt, black baseball cap and purple backpack”.

He is said to have escaped with an unknown amount of money.

Fortunately none of the customers that were in the bank at the time of the robbery were injured.

Allentown’s K-9 unit dogs tracked the suspect to an alley in the vicinity of the bank but the trail ended there. It is likely that this is where the robber made a speedy get away in a vehicle.
