Free Oral Health Advice In Stroud
The team from Confident Dental Care in Stroud will be on hand to provide free oral health advice and information today and tomorrow.
The surgery, which is located in Cotswold House on London Road, Stroud, is offering free oral health consultations between 9am and 1pm on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th June as part of the National Smile Month campaign, which runs until 20th June.
Members of the dental team will be answering questions and discussing any oral health issues patients wish to bring up during informal one to one sessions.
There will also be a quiz, with prizes, including a consultation worth £95, on offer and goody bags will be handed out.
The team members will also be visiting local schools to talk to children about important oral health issues, such as teeth cleaning, healthy eating and going to the dentist.
National Smile Month is run by the British Dental Health Foundation and supported by practices across the UK; the aim is to get people talking about oral health and ensure that they understand the importance of brushing the teeth twice a day, going to the dentist for regular check-ups and avoiding sugary and acidic foods.
