Fareham Dental Practice to Participate in Oasis Dental Charity Day
The team at The Wessex Dental Specialist Centre in Fareham is gearing up for a day of fundraising as part of Oasis Dental’s charity day. The practice, which is part of the Oasis chain, will be hosting a series of events as well as donating a portion of the takings. This is in support of a charity scheme running across the country on Saturday 27th February.
On the day, the team will be donating a percentage of the takings and a raffle will be held. The proceeds will be sent to Bridge2Aid and The Rowans Hospice. Bridge2Aid is a charity that organises projects in developing countries to enable people who have never seen a dentist before to access basic dental services, while the Rowans provides care for patients with terminal illnesses and support for their families and loved ones. The charity is close to the hearts of many of the team members and seemed like an obvious choice.
Tickets for the raffle cost just £1 and there are some great prizes on offer, including a dinner for two at the Bugle Hotel, five hours of driving lessons and discounted dental treatments.
Manager Alice Stewart said that everyone is looking forward to taking part in Oasis Dental’s charity day and thanked all the local businesses for their kind donations for the raffle.
