East Kilbride Dentist Celebrates ‘Best Dentist’ Award
A dentist from East Kilbride is celebrating after receiving the ‘Best Dentist in Scotland’ award at the Scottish Dental Awards.
David MacPherson, principal dentist at Whitemoss Dental Practice in East Kilbride, was nominated by his dental team and was shocked but delighted to receive the award at the Scottish Dental Awards, which was held at Hampden Park,Glasgow, last week.
Dr MacPherson’s dental practice is the only village dental surgery in Scotland to hold the Gold Healthy Working Lives award. Dr MacPherson was unaware that he had been nominated for the award but practice manager, Serita Miller, said that the team had decided to nominate him because he is dedicated to his profession, his patients constantly praise his relaxed and compassionate approach and he is always willing to devote time to his clients.
David has worked at Whitemoss Dental Practice for 19 years and he has been the owner of the practice for the last sixteen; he is hugely popular with colleagues and patients and the practice has won a number of awards over the years.
This year, the practice team thought that David deserved individual praise for his commitment and clinical expertise and they were delighted when his name was called at the prestigious ceremony in Glasgow.
