East End dental practice donates toothbrushes to the homeless

Sample News Big

Members of staff from a dental practice on the Isle of Dogs spread a little festive cheer by donating more than two hundred tubes of toothpaste and toothbrushes to homeless people.

Greg Pierre and Nick Fabbri from the Altmore Dental Practice donated the oral hygiene products free of charge to help those at St Mungo’s hostel in Hackney, East London. The hostel provides shelter and basic home comforts for homeless people, as well as providing them with training and learning facilities, emotional support and the option to pursue hobbies and interests.

Mervin Sealy, deputy manager of the hostel, said that the donation was gratefully received, as many of the residents of the hostel suffer from poor oral health.
