Dentists from all over the US will be celebrating the noble art of Prosthodontics in March.

The American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) is hosting this years National Prosthodontics Awareness Week (NPAW) which runs from 7 to 13 March.

During the week ACP hopes to educate people about the benefits of regular visits to the prosthodontist and a good oral health routine.

It will also be highlighting the treatment options for those that have missing teeth and will draw attention to community dental programs like screenings for oral cancer and health fairs.

A number of ACP members will be performing pro bono treatments at different locations across the US.

Dr Jonathan Wiens, president-elect of ACP and chair of NPAW, said that ACP members were already showing an exiting level of commitment towards NPAW.
