Dentistry from the Heart offers one-day clinic in Vestal
Dentistry from the Heart, the non-profit charity, which helps to organise events and clinics throughout the country will join forces with Lalor Creekside Dental practice to offer local residents a one-off free clinic this Saturday.
The clinic will take place at Lalor Creekside Dental surgery on Vestal Parkway West and will start at 8 o’clock in the morning. Appointments will be given on a first come, first served basis and staff will be on hand to provide treatments including fillings, extractions and scaling and polishing free of charge; the treatments will be limited to one per person so that more people can benefit from the clinic.
Staff at the clinic are planning to treat a minimum of one hundred patients during the day and are looking forward to giving back to the community. Patients are expected to come from surrounding counties.
The clinics run by Dentistry from the Heart offer those who normally struggle to afford dental care an opportunity to get treatment free of charge; currently, millions of Americans are suffering with dental health problems and cannot afford the treatment they need because they don’t have insurance policies and reduced rate care is not widely available.
