Dentex acquires Bourne End dental clinic

Dental chain, Dentex has added to its portfolio after acquiring a new clinic in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire.

Bourne End Dental Practice was previously owned by Drs Stephen Rees and Andrew Chandrapal, who will continue to work at the clinic under new ownership. Dr Rees said that everyone is excited about the prospect of working with the Dentex team and seeing what the future holds.

Dentex is a growing firm, and it already has 71 practices across the country. The latest addition is a coup for the firm, with several parties registering their interest in taking over Bourne End Dental Practice. Having short-listed a small number of potential buyers following a confidential bidding process, the owners decided to opt for Dentex.

Oliver Snowden, Dentex’s director of partnership and acquisitions, said that he was “delighted” to have Andy, Steve and the Bourne End team join the Dentex group. The practice is an established private dental clinic with a loyal client base and an excellent reputation and the aim will be to continue building on the success achieved since the former owners took the reins. Mr Snowden also described Drs Rees and Chandrapal as “ideal partners” and added that the Dentex team is looking forward to working with them for many years to come.

Patients who are registered with the practice will not be affected in any way, and the practice will remain open with scheduled appointments running as normal. New patients are actively encouraged to get in touch to register.
