Dental Team To Join Health Workers at Sydenham Children’s Event
A team of dental professionals will join health workers at Sydenham Children’s Centre for a family health event; the event will take place on Friday February 22nd from 10am until 2pm.
The aim of the family health day is to raise awareness of health issues and encourage people to adopt healthier lifestyles to reduce their risk of developing serious illnesses.
Health professionals will be advising the public on a range of issues, including oral health and oral hygiene, quitting smoking, diet and nutrition, exercise, children’s health, fire safety, first aid and car seat safety.
The event will also offer a host of fun activities and games, including a raffle, tombola, fitness classes for young kids and face painting.
Health bosses are encouraging everyone to get down to Sydenham Children’s Centre to take part in the event and learn about important health issues.
