Sample News Big

Community dental services are to relocate in Haverfordwest as the town’s health centre undergoes essential maintenance work.

Hywel Dda Health Board has announced that the Haverfordwest Health Centre will close from Wednesday 7th August until Wednesday 5th September. The health centre will temporarily close for scheduled renovation.

As a result of the closure a number of services will be relocating, including sexual health, community dentistry, podiatry, cardiac rehabilitation, Macmillan nursing and Parkinson’s disease nurses.

David Morrissey, assistant general manager for health and social care, said that the board has acted to minimise inconvenience to the public and members of staff working at the health centre. Once the centre reopens, there will be a noticeable improvement in facilities and extra clinical workspace.

Mr Morrissey thanked patients for their patience and added that the temporary closure will result in improvements in health services and facilities in the area.
