Dental Records Confirm That Dorner Is Dead

Police have confirmed that America’s most wanted man is dead, after dental records were used to confirm his identity.

Dental records were used to identify the charred body of Christopher Dorner on February 14th; police set fire to a cabin in San Bernardino County following gun shots and a lengthy police chase. Mr Dorner decided to take revenge on the LA Police Department after he was fired in 2009 as a result of being found guilty of falsely accusing his training officer of brutality.

Over the course of a 4 day period, Dorner was accused of killing four people, including police officer, Michael Crain and San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Detective, Jeremiah MacKay; he was also accused of severely wounding four other people.

The cause of death has not been disclosed yet and toxicology tests could take weeks.

Yesterday, hundreds of people, including police officers, gathered to pay their respects to Jeremiah MacKay; more than a dozen sheriff’s cruisers and motorbikes lead a procession ahead of the hearse carrying MacKay’s body and the coffin was carried into the church to the sound of a bagpiper.

Mr Dorner’s mother, Nancy, released a statement confirming that the family did not condone the actions Christopher had taken and sent their sincere condolences to all who had been affected by his action.
