Dental practice offers free treatment for the day

Edmonds Woodway Dental Care will open its doors to patients who cannot afford dental treatment on Saturday the 12th June.

The practice will offer free treatment to underprivileged kids, adults on low income and the unemployed during the Second Annual day of Caring event. The clinic will run from 9am to 3pm and dentists are aiming to treat around thirty to forty patients.

Dr Michael Hrankowski, of Edmonds Woodway Dental Care, said the appointments would be given out on a first come, first served basis. Dr Hrankowski said he was looking forward to helping people who are struggling to get by and is pleased to be able to give something back to the community.

The patients will be allowed one treatment each and the treatment must be simple enough to be completed in just one appointment; examples of treatments include fillings, cleaning treatments and extractions. The limit on treatments has been imposed to ensure as many people as possible can benefit from the free clinic.

Patients who are interested in the event are encouraged to get in touch with the dental practice directly.
