Dental Practice Manager Set To Swap Cornwall For Cambodia

Sample News Big

A dental practice manager from Truro is preparing to swap Cornwall for Cambodia; Pure Dental manager, Sharon Sweet, will be visiting Cambodia with UK dental charity, Dentaid.

Sharon will spend 16 days in Cambodia; during her trip she will be visiting a prison and three orphanages to help people and educate them about oral health and oral hygiene.

Dentaid provides dental care, as well as equipment and supplies to people living in some of the world’s poorest countries; hundreds of dental professionals volunteer each year and the work the charity does makes a huge difference, especially to those who have no access to dental care.

Sharon has been fundraising for her trip and was very grateful to the St Austell Soptometrists, who donated £200 towards the trip. Sharon was presented with the cheque by president-elect of the organisation, Carole Gardner.
