Dental office manager charged with fraud
A woman from Oakville has been charged with fraud, it has been revealed.
The 34 year old dental office manager has been charged with defrauding insurance providers; the woman worked at the Burlington dental practice over a six year period; during this time she is alleged to have claimed more than $130,000.
Police arrested the woman last week after receiving a complaint from the woman’s boss. According to Detective Constable Rob Felske, the woman had been claiming for dental procedures and treatments and then taking the money herself.
The dental office manager will appear in Milton court on December 22nd.
