Dental Nurse Signs Up for Dungannon Strictly Come Dancing Competition for Marie Curie

Sample News Big

A dental nurse from Dungannon has signed up to take part in a local Strictly Come Dancing competition in aid of Marie Curie, a charity that cares for people with terminal illnesses.

Lorna Ritchie from Thomas Street Clinic will participate in the event, which is being organised by Southern Health and Social Care Trust. The heats will take place at Cookstown’s Glenavon Hotel.

The dental nurse has been working hard to raise as much money as possible. She has already collected donations for Easter hampers and is now organising a Come Dine With Me event at her house for friends on the 2nd July. The event is open to all and afternoon tea will be served. She also plans to host a quiz night at her local pub and the date and time will be confirmed soon.

Dancers have been encouraged to raise as much money as possible for Marie Curie, which offers valuable help and support for people affected by terminal illnesses, as well as support for their families. The event is being managed by the trust in conjunction with production company Take 2 Productions and the Southern Trust Charity Committee.
