Dental Implants: The True Cost of Travelling

Sample News Big

DentalcarePlus, a UK cosmetic dentistry provider, has made the choice to lower the price of its dental implants in opposition to cheaper implants abroad. The firm, which has clinics in Plymouth and Marlow and another soon to open in Bristol, has dropped the costs of its implants to compete with foreign implant prices.

For years practices in Poland, Thailand and a number of other countries, have provided UK dental tourists with implants at a fraction of the usual price. With cheap flights available from many airlines and the exchange right ruling against the pound, treatment abroad seems like the cheapest option.

However, these savings could be misleading for a number of reasons. Implants generally need at least 2 to 3 visits for a completed treatment, which means that on average the cost of 6 flights must be budgeted, as well the money needed for a hotel room for at least 3 nights each time, as many airlines will not allow you to travel straight after dental implant surgery and require at least three days in between.

As well as the cost of receiving the treatment, consideration must be made for the cost of problems that could arise, meaning further trips back to the clinic.

DentalcarePlan, hopes that people will calculate the actual cost and effort involved when receiving dental implants abroad and see that their reduced cost of £2000, is actually a great deal cheaper in the long run.
