Members of staff at a dental implant firm have swapped the laboratory for the dance-floor to raise money for charity.

Implantium, an implant firm based in Shropshire, hosted the Queen of Hearts Summer Ball at Ellesmere College in order to raise funds for The British Heart Foundation. The ball raised a total of £1,500.

Guests at the ball included staff members from Implantium, Implantium clients and professionals from the dental industry.

Money was raised through ticket sales and a raffle; prizes included a flight in the Implantium owner, Jason Buglass’ private plane and a meal prepared by Matthew Buglass, who is currently working as a chef at Manchester City Football Club. Jason, a keen pilot, will be piloting the winner’s flight.

Jason Buglass said that the event was a great success and thanked all the guests for showing their support for such a worthy cause; he extended gratitude to everyone for donating through ticket sales and the raffle and also thanked Ellesmere College for agreeing to host the ball.
