Dental Couple Celebrates Taking Over Sittingbourne Practice
A husband and wife dental team has taken over a Sittingbourne dental practice.
Dr Bilal Afzal and Dr Sarah Nazir are the proud new owners of Park Road Dental; they have taken the reins after the previous owner retired.
The new owners have ambitious plans to carry out a makeover, and they hope to recruit new members of staff in the coming months. For the meantime, they will be working at the practice and recruiting two new dentists to join the existing team of 5 members of staff.
The practice, which offers both private and NHS treatments, is well-established, and the duo is hoping to build on its excellent reputation and continue the legacy for years to come.
Dr Afzal qualified in 2002 in Pakistan before moving over to the UK. His wife, Sarah, graduated in 2004, and the couple has always dreamed of running their own business. Now, thanks to help from the Royal Bank of Scotland, their dream has become a reality, and they couldn’t be happier. Paul Barnes, senior relationship manager at RBS, said that the lender is proud to be a part of making professional dreams come true, and wished the duo every success in the future.
Drs Afzal and Nazir have plenty of ideas, but for now, they are looking forward to meeting the patients and getting to know their new colleagues.
