Denplan To Launch New Discount Dental Plan For Employees
Denplan will launch a new discount dental plan to allow employers to join a network to provide discounted dental care for employees, employers will have the opportunity to use and promote dentists in their local area.
Denplan has already offered 6,500 member dentists the chance to join the scheme and 1,500 have already signed up.
Employees registered with the plan will have the chance to access information about participating dentists via a secure website, which will only be open to those covered by the Denplan policy.
Managing director of Denplan, Steve Gates, said that people tend to visit the dentist closest to where they live and this can be a problem for employers because employees have to take time off to go to their appointment and travelling can add to the time period significantly. Gates said that he wanted to help employers and employees to use the most efficient system possible, by bringing them into contact with dental practices close to their office or place of work.
