Comedian and actress, Crissy Rock has been busy showing off the results of dental implant treatment after suffering years of dental misery following treatment for cancer.

The actress, who is best-known for ITV show, Benidorm and has also appeared on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, was left without a lot of teeth after having treatment for vulval cancer in 2003. Chemotherapy caused her teeth to become weaker and as time went by, they started to crumble and eventually several were extracted. Unfortunately, the drugs also affected the gum and bone tissue and this made wearing dentures very uncomfortable.

Now, several years later, Crissy is delighted with the results of dental implant treatment. Having spent £20,000 on her new smile, which she describes as the “Rolls Royce” of smiles, the actress said that she feels more confident and happier than ever before.

Crissy said that she was “mortified” when cameras captured her taking her teeth out to perform a sky dive on the ITV reality show, which she failed to complete because she was too nervous. At the time, the actress said she tried to make light of the situation, making jokes about having no teeth, but inside she said she was “deeply embarrassed.” Crissy had previously had dental treatment to restore her bottom teeth in Spain, but was devastated with the results, claming that the teeth looked like “joke teeth.”

After coming out of the jungle, Crissy decided to have treatment at The Smile Centre in Manchester and after four months she is now delighted with the results.
