Cosmetic dentistry ‘addresses many problems’
Cosmetic dental treatments can help correct a number of smile issues, it has been claimed.
According to Dallas cosmetic dentist Dr Gary Alhadef, procedures such as teeth whitening to porcelain veneers can help correct any problem someone has with their teeth.
Teeth whitening can help people who wish their smile was brighter, veneers can straighten crooked teeth or fangs, he explained.
Dr Alhadef said: "If you’ve ever looked in the mirror and sighed, ‘If only my teeth were …’ then you might benefit from a smile makeover."
An enhanced smile can improve an individual’s confidence, social skills and appearance, he added, claiming that often people who are unhappy with their teeth hide them when they talk.
Dentist Dr Bobbi Stanley recently told dental students at the University of North Carolina that one of the most positive aspects of the job is creating beautiful smiles for her patients.
