Dental patients in Clydebank have raised hundreds of pounds for a children’s charity.

DB Dental Care has been running a campaign to raise money for Cash for Kids, and team members have been blown away by the generosity of patients.

Cash for Kids supports children and young people with disabilities, as well as those who suffer abuse or neglect. The charity also helps families of children with special needs. DB Dental Care decided to support Cash for Kids to give back to the local community and take part in a communal fundraising drive, which brought staff and patients together to benefit children and families in need. For the last few weeks, the practice has been collecting donations, and staff have been doing their utmost to drum up interest and talk to patients about Cash for Kids and the wonderful work it does.

The DB Dental team recently posted an update on their Facebook page thanking patients for their generous donations, which totalled almost £500. Describing the patients as “kind-hearted, amazing people,” the post stated that everyone had been overwhelmed with the support for the campaign, and the team is now looking forward to presenting Clyde 1 Cash for Kids with a cheque that will make such a positive difference to local children and their families.
