Clyde Munro to open state-of-the-art dental clinic and training centre in Perth
Scotland’s largest dental chain, Clyde Munro, is opening a brand new, state-of-the-art dental clinic and training facility in the centre of Perth.
The project, which will cost over £1 million, will bring cutting-edge dental services and training facilities to the city. Clyde Munro is creating the clinic in association with Dentsply Sirona, a multinational manufacturer, which specialises in high-tech dental equipment and products.
The new dental clinic and teaching centre will open in a listed building, which was built in the 19th century for the British Linen Bank. More recently, the premises were used by a legal firm.
Plans for the development include a new, state-of-the-art training academy and the UK’s first SureSmile Studio. The studio will offer patients access to innovative orthodontics, including clear aligners.
Brian Blair, a local property developer, said that the project would “provide a welcome economic boost for Perth” at a time when businesses are struggling in the aftermath of the pandemic.
The new clinic and teaching centre is located near Perth Dental Care, a practice acquired by Clyde Munro in 2021, and Salmoni Opticians.
Clyde Munro Dental Group now operates more than 60 dental clinics across Scotland. The company is planning to expand further and add more practices in the months to come.
