Scotland’s largest dental chain has added two new dental practices to its ever-expanding portfolio.
Clyde Munro has recently taken over McIntyre Corbet & Associates, which has clinics in Dingwall and Invergordon. The acquisitions take the total number of practices run by the firm to 49.

The McIntyre Corbet & Associates team comprises three dentists, five dental nurses, two hygienists and three receptionists. Iain McIntyre bought the Dingwall practice in 1988 and in 1990, he expanded operations, adding a second practice in Invergordon when Chris Corbet joined the team. The pair had been friends at university in Dundee and have now been working together for over 30 years.

Speaking about the acquisition, Mr McIntyre said that joining forces with Clyde Munro would provide “continuity” for patients, many of whom have been visiting the practices for several years. Both Chris and Iain are looking forward to expanding and developing the business and working with Clyde Munro to offer patients the highest possible standards of care.

Clyde Munro is growing its business, taking on new practices all over Scotland. Chief development officer, Kirsty Dace, said that the Highland practices have established client bases and fantastic relationships with patients and the aim will be to continue providing patients with the outstanding level of care they are accustomed to. Clyde Munro will oversee the management of the practice, freeing up more time for the dental team to focus on treating and interacting with patients.

Founded in 2015 by Jim Hall, Clyde Munro started out with seven dental practices. The firm is expecting to reach the milestone of running 50 practices in the coming weeks. More than 400,000 patients in Scotland are now cared for by dental teams working for Clyde Munro.
