Christina Applegate Recovering Following Emergency Dental Surgery
Hollywood actress Christina Applegate is recovering after undergoing emergency dental treatment.
The 40 year old actress was filing a new episode of sitcom Up All Night when she experienced a shooting pain; after running to the bathroom to see what was wrong, Applegate discovered that half of her molar tooth has broken off and the nerve was exposed.
Applegate contacted an emergency dentist in the local area and rushed for treatment. Speaking on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno the day after the incident, the actress explained the situation and thanked her dentist for acting so quickly and leaving his dinner to come out and perform the procedure.
Jay Leno asked how she was doing and she said that she already felt much better but her mouth was still feeling numb from the anaesthetic. The actress had been working on set for 14 hours when she suddenly felt that her tongue felt odd and then developed a sudden, sharp pain.
