Charlize Theron Opens Up about having No Teeth as a Child

Sample News Big

Charlize Theron is widely regarded as one of the world’s most beautiful and glamorous women, but the actress has not always been blessed with good looks and said that she found it very difficult growing up because she had no teeth until the age of 11 years old.

The South African actress, who regularly graces red carpets at the world’s most glamorous and prestigious events, described her early childhood as “devastating” and said that she hated the way she looked because she had no teeth. As a baby she suffered from jaundice and was prescribed antibiotics on a regular basis, which caused her milk teeth to fall out.

Charlize, who is now 36, said that it was very difficult at school, especially when she had to pose for photographs with other children, who obviously all had full sets of teeth.

The actress, who is currently promoting her new film, Snow White and the Huntsman, said that she is now very happy and feels more energised than ever, despite surviving on minimal amounts of sleep after adopting a baby boy named Jackson.

Despite suffering at school, Charlize has clearly not let this set her back and she has forged an extremely successful career.
