Bute Dental Team Celebrated New Qualifications
Members of the dental team at a Bute dental practice are celebrating a host of new qualifications.
Liz Officer, practice manager at Bute Dental Surgery, recently graduated with a Personal Development Award in dental practice management, while dental nurse, Nicola Wilson, was awarded a National Diploma in Dental Nursing, meaning she is now a fully qualified dental nurse.
Kelly Mackay has recently joined the practice and will start her dental nurse training next month. New dentist, Kirsty MacLarty, is celebrating starting her first job since graduating as a dentist at Glasgow University last year.
The Bute practice is celebrating the addition of new members and the success of individuals and the dental team. The practice also employs a dedicated Child Smile nurse. Nicole McGregor works with children and parents to provide information and treatment designed to improve standards of oral health and reduce rates of decay and premature tooth loss among children.
Nicole also provides at-home visits for the elderly and other patients who find it difficult to get to the surgery as a result of disability or illness.
